  • Terry Clark

    DVM

    Dr Terry Clark spent her childhood here in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Science and her veterinary degree from Texas A&M University in 1991. After graduation she was selected for a one-year clinical internship in California with the Ventura Medical and Surgical Group. She then went on to practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico and after 3 years returned home to the Dallas area. She has been working at VCA Metroplex Veterinary Center since 1995. Currently, Dr. Clark serves as the medical director for the hospital. Dr Clark has a professional passion for ultrasonography and echocardiography. She enjoys all aspects of medicine but in particular has a clinical interest in cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, critical care and dentistry. She is also co-author of the book Medical, Genetic, and Behavioral Aspects of Purebred Cats. Dr Clark is married and has one son, Aidan. She is also the proud parent of several four legged family members Sandy and Willie. In her free time, Dr Clark enjoys traveling with her family, water sports and photography.

  • Taryn Eaton

    DVM

    Dr. Eaton is originally from New Jersey and received her B.S. in Animal Science from Rutgers University. She completed the DVM/MBA dual degree program at Texas A&M University, receiving her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and her MBA from the Mays Business School in 2005. She is married and has two dogs, Geno and Luv, as well as a cockatiel, Iggy. She has a special interest in canine and feline internal medicine and strives to treat every patient as if they were her own pet.

    Dr. B was born and educated in Irving, TX. He received his BS degree in 1973 and his DVM degree in 1974 from Texas A&M University. Dr. B owned and operated the "183 Animal Hospital" for 35 years before merging with VCA Metroplex in September of 2009. He enjoys fly fishing and spending as much time as possible with his 1 year old grandchild, Joshua.

    Tiffany Green, DVM DACVECC is boarded in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Green spent her childhood in San Juan Capistrano, California. She graduated in 2001 from Kansas State University, where she attended her undergraduate and veterinary training. Dr. Green completed her internship and residency at the Animal Emergency Center and Specialty Services in Glendale, Wisconsin, after practicing for 5 years in general and emergency care. Her special interest within emergency and critical care is pulmonary disease. Dr. Green's favorite past times are boating, skiing, traveling, and last, but not least, time with her family which includes her husband, 3 dogs, and 5 cats.

  • Catherine Barnes

    DVM

    Dr. Catherine Barnes is originally from New Jersey. She first came to Texas to pursue a B.S. in biomedical science from Texas A&M University. She stayed to study veterinary medicine graduating in 2007. After getting her DVM, she returned to New Jersey for an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Barnes then went into private practice in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for three years before deciding to come back to Texas. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, watching movies, and attempting to wear out her heeler mix Reggie.

  • Vicki Martinez

    DVM

    Dr. Vicki Martinez grew up i n northeast Iowa. She obtained a BA in Music Education from Azusa Pacific University in southern California before returning to Iowa to go to veterinary school. She graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, spent two years practicing in Spokane, WA, and then arrived in the Dallas area where she has since been practicing. Dr.Martinez enjoys a spending time with her husband Ben, daughter Marisa, and son Anthony, as well as Krypto the dog and cats Tigger, Phoebus, Ariel and Jade Fox. Blueberry the parakeet also resides in the Martinez household. Dr.Martinez also enjoys reading, crocheting, traveling, watching movies, being involved in instrumental groups, and watching PBR bull riding.

  • Charisse Davidson

    DVM

    Charisse Davidson, DVM, MS graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1996, Cum Laude. Thereafter, she completed an internship in avian and exotic medicine in 1997, and earned a Master's Degree in Ecology in 1998. In 2001, Dr. Davidson completed a Surgical Internship at the California Animal Hospital and thereafter an American College of Veterinary Surgeons approved residency program at VetSurg in 2004. Dr. Davidson successfully completed her certification examinations and is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Davidson's professional interests include orthopedics, surgical oncology, neurology, arthroscopy, pain management including Stem Cell Therapy for the treatment of canine osteoarthritis and tendon/ligament injuries. She has been TPLO certified since 2002 and is also certified in Penn HIP evaluation. She has authored publications in both pain management and orthopedics as well as authored textbook chapters in small animal orthopedics and avian medicine.

  • Desiree Poore

    Dr. Desiree Poore originally hails from New Mexico where she grew up rodeoing, showing livestock, and traveling greener pastures. She completed her Wildlife Science degree at New Mexico State, and attended Oklahoma State University to finish her Masters in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. An internship took her to Charlotte, NC after graduation where she enjoyed the rain and beaches for a couple of years before returning home to America's heartland. She joined Metroplex VCA in June of 2013, and is thrilled to be back in Big 12 range (Go Pokes!). Professionally she enjoys emergency work and believes that it's rewarding to help our patients when they are at their sickest. Other areas of interest include dentistry, ultrasonography, and surgery. Her dogs, Beau and Roscoe, run the house and enjoy watching Dukes of Hazard episodes. In her off time, Dr. Poore can be found kayaking in Texas lakes and rivers, attempting to do Crossfit, taking photographs, or helping with church activities.
