Mary was trained through Balanced Body Pilates by Betty Nicolay, a Master Balanced Body Instructor and former dancer of Contemporary Dancers Canada. As Mary teaches more and more, she consistently sees how Pilates has the amazing ability to improve the lifestyle of all. Her favorite successes as an instructor are when her clients comment on when they see and feel how Pilates impacts their life positively in the studio and, more importantly, outside the studio. • Amy

    Instructor

I found my passion for fitness playing volleyball and running track throughout middle school and high school, always looking up to my coaches as role models and mentors as they really taught me how to persevere and find my edge. I learned at a very young age how important physical activity is for your mental health. Carrying that mindset with me to college, I began studying Health Promotion at the University of North Texas. After 2 years of college under my belt I had to put a pause on school, and thankfully ended up working the front desk at Club Pilates. I fell in love with the Pilates method and the endless benefits it has on the brain/body connection, and of course the awesome members. After completing the Teacher Training Program, I look forward to helping people with their practice and being the person that my coaches were for me.

  • Alecia

    Instructor

Alecia found Pilates about 5 years ago when she took a mat class in college. It was always something she tried to incorporate into her workouts. When she moved to Las Colinas, Club Pilates had opened a location right down the street. She was eager to challenge herself with reformer Pilates and once she tried it, she was hooked! After some encouragement from an instructor, Alecia decided to get her teaching certification through Club Pilates. Teaching and fitness are two of her passions and she loves to help people along their fitness journey. When she’s not teaching, you can catch her taking a spin class, traveling or hanging with her dog Zoe!

  • Karen

    Instructor

A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Karen was introduced to Pilates in 2007, and it quickly became her passion. With a teaching background, and inspired by the benefits of her Pilates practice, Karen became comprehensively certified and began teaching what she loves. She believes that being active is one of the best things you can do for your health and is excited to share the many physical and mental benefits of Pilates with her clients. When not in the studio, Karen can be found enjoying margaritas on the patio, cherishing hugs from her granddaughters, and planning new experiences.

  • Micah

    Instructor

As a former dancer, Micah always knew of Reformer Pilates but it always seemed financially out of reach. Micah had been sick with a plethora of health issues for nearly 20 years that forced her to stop dancing and have an inactive lifestyle. She was obese and had accepted the fact that this was her life and the body she was destined to have. Looking for an exercise program she could do that wouldn’t make her more fatigued or injured, by pure luck she came across a recently opened Club Pilates. After her first class, she was hooked. Taking advantage of the variety of classes offered at Club Pilates, she got everything she needed in one place: strengthening, lengthening, toning, flexibility, and cardio. One year later Micah was 50+ pounds lighter and truly healthy for the first time! Micah recently completed her comprehensive Pilates training through Club Pilates and Barre Above. She was lucky enough to be trained by Leslee Bender, creator of the Bender Method of training and the Bender Ball and co-creator of Barre Above. Micah is excited to bring her passion and excitement to Club Pilates and help others reach their personal fitness goals!
