Dr. Simeon Udunka
DDSDr. Simeon Udunka is a general dentist with extensive training in oral surgery. He has a passion for wisdom teeth removal, dental implantology, and IV sedation. He is a level 3 sedation provider who maintains his BLS and ACLS certifications. One of Dr. Udunka’s biggest attributes is his ability to connect with all types of people. This allows him to maintain a sense of comfort with all his patients. Dr. Udunka is a native of Atlanta, GA. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry from Xavier University in New Orleans, LA. After college he became a Research Chemist for the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. He later earned his dental degree from Meharry Medical College. Although at different times during his dental school tenure he served as his class president and the chapter president for the American Student Dental Association. After graduation Dr. Udunka moved to Texas to continue his education. He became a graduate of the AEGD residency program at Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formerly Baylor College of Dentistry). Next, he completed a fellowship in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Most importantly Dr. Udunka is a loving husband to his beautiful wife Chioma and proud father to their three sons Simeon III, Isaiah, and Malachi. They enjoy watching movies, swimming, and traveling. They especially look forward to spending time with family in Nigeria when time permits. To keep a positive perspective in life Dr. Udunka refers to a quote his mom shares with him. “Which is to always help others when you simply can and not to worry about things you simply cannot control”.
